“Cause and effect is the relationship between two things when one thing makes something else happen. For example, if we eat too much food and do not exercise, we gain weight. Eating food without exercising is the “cause;” weight gain is the “effect.” There may be multiple causes and multiple effects.”

Cause and effect is important in the study of history because it enables us to see and understand, for example what the drive of the person who inspired the change was. It allows us to not only see the effects, but the need and the motive behind the change. It helps us interpret different views and to get into the mindset of the era. It allows us to no only learn history, but to understand it. Every person tries to see the cause while learning about the effect.

I think cause and effect is the method of development in which the writer analyses the reason or reasons for an action, event, or decisions, or analyses resulting consiquences to support a point

    Cause and effect

Cause and effect is the relationship between two things. It is important to history because what ever happens over time for example a war would have an effect of causing more reason to start another and another.

    Q1:
Cause and effect is a way of developing in which you analyse the reason for an action, event, or decision, or analyses what happened as a result of this.

    Q2:
Cause and effect is important when understanding and aquiring historical knowledge because when writing about a historical event, cause and effect is important for it gives a structure for reasearch.

    Cause & Effect
    What is cause and effect?

Cause and effect are key historical concepts that help us understand history and the connection between actions and their consequences.

We often want to know why something happened or what happened as the result of something else happening. We try to understand the reason or cause for it. The word “because” often helps you understand why something happened. If the word “because” does not appear, then try to figure out why an event occurred.

Why is it important to historical knowledge?

Becouse we need to understand why things happened and what the consiquence of what happened is. If we don’t then know this then it will make avoiding the mistakes in the past alot harder.

I think it’s important to understand historical knowlage because we need to know about our history so we can learn more about what has happened to take the world to what it is today

Most of the time, when something happens, we want to know why and what caused the event. The way we understand things leads us to remember the information and therefore it becomes knowledge in its true sense. Therefore we yearn not for knowlage but for information which then subconsiosly changes to knowlage when we understand its meaning.

EFFECT is a result of a CAUSE.

eg. Tom drops the cookie jar.
EFFECT = He gets no cookies.
CAUSE = He dropped the cookie jar and the jar breaks.

    • Why is it important to historical knowledge?

In my view Cause and effect is extremely important to historical knowledge because:

    * We can learn from our mistakes.
    • We know where we have gone wrong in the past
    * To know what not to do if faced in a similar situation.
    • History is the only laboratory we have in which to test the consequences of thought.

    Cause And Effect

I think that cause is the way or reason why something happened and that effect is the consequences of it whether it be good or bad.

I think that it is important because that s the base outline of history theory ‘Why and What happened’
